International Alzheimer's Disease Research Portfolio (IADRP)

 

The goal of the International Alzheimer's Disease Research Portfolio (IADRP) project is to enable funding organizations to assess the changing landscape of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) research and coordinate strategies, leverage resources, and avoid duplication of effort.

 

The Common Alzheimer's Disease Research Ontology (CADRO) is a classification system developed by the National Institute on Aging and the Alzheimer's Association that can be used to integrate and compare AD research portfolios from public and private organizations supporting AD research in the US and abroad.

 

Currently the IADRP database has data visualization capabilities that utilize motion charts. You can visualize year-by-year comparison of funding across CADRO categories and topics for participating funding organizations (including individual NIH Institutes and Centers).
